Melissa Meyer is a Certified Pastry Chef with a passion for entertaining. Although Chef Melissa originally got her start at the age of 5 with her Easy Bake Oven, her professional experience comes from her work with The Walt Disney Company and The Art Institute.

Melissa worked both at Walt Disney World in Florida and Disneyland in California.  Between the two resorts Melissa had the privilege of managing 6 restaurants, 4 snack locations, private dining, and worked in a production bakery.  She also had the honor of managing many special events, her favorite being the Pirates of the Caribbean 2 World Premier which was hosted in New Orleans Square in Disneyland.

Melissa has been a Chef Instructor at The Art Institute of Tampa since 2010.  There she teaches courses both in Hospitality Management as well as Baking and Pastry Arts.  Her favorite subject is Chocolates, Confections, and Centerpieces as she has a passion for creating (and eating) chocolate confections.

Melissa attended Sullivan University in Louisville, Kentucky, where she earned an Associate's Degree in Baking and Pastry Arts, a Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, and a Master's Degree in Business Administration.

Between Chef Melissa’s love of baking and passion for creating special events, she is the perfect ‘secret ingredient’ to make your Chefin pastry party a scrumptious event that guests will savor forever.
